Mgr Production (Administrative)
Job Summary
Responsible for overseeing and enhancing our manufacturing processes through the implementation of continuous improvement methodologies. This role requires a proactive leader with a passion for optimizing efficiency, quality (Significantly reducing customer complaints), Safety (Zero incidents is possible) and productivity while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Job Description
Responsibilities:
• Ensure a safe, clean and secure working environment by establishing and enforcing procedures, rules and regulations. Initiate fixed capital requests, monitor all production related safety and security systems and procedures on a regular basis.
• Lead and manage the production team and operations to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
• Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance production efficiency and quality and to comply with Medline Operating System strategies.
• Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
• Facilitate regular training and development programs for production staff on continuous improvement techniques.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and eliminate waste.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Drive the adoption of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Prepare and present reports on production performance and improvement initiatives.
• Develop and mentor staff through on-boarding, open communication, training and development opportunities and performance management processes; build and maintain employee morale and motivation; ensure the team is appropriately staffed with required competencies. Conduct semi-annually performance management for reports.
• Support and generate Cost Out projects to achieve company goals.
• Lead and support all the MKOS Systems and promote PDCA approach to improve the systems.
• Create A3s and deploy problem solving tools to improve plant KPI's
Required Experience:
Education
High school diploma or GED
Work Experience
5 years' experience in manufacturing and Supply Chain (inventory management, warehouse, etc.) environment.
2 years' experience managing people including hiring, developing, motivating, and directing people as they work.
Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Word, Excel, AS400, and SAP.
The anticipated salary range for this position:
90,480.00 - 135,720.00 USD Annual
The actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
